Our deliveries are undertaken by our own trained delivery teams, An Post and other dedicated couriers. Our deliveries take place between Monday and Friday 9 am - 6 pm (excluding Bank Holidays). 

At Castle Davitt Furniture we are pleased to offer both Home Delivery and In-Store collection services. Please view information on each below and please get in touch with us if you have any queries at all.

What happens after my order is placed?

For non-bulky items (under 10kg), your order is normally processed the within 48 hours and you should have your order within 4-7 working days. These are delivered with An Post and a tracking number is available on request by emailing We will contact you immediately if there are any issues with stock availability.

For bulky items (over 10kg) You will receive an order confirmation via email after placing your order. If the product is in stock and available for delivery it will be delivered within 14 days. We will contact you by email to let you know what day to expect your order. The evening before delivery, you will receive a text message which will give you an approximate time when to expect delivery. Also, approximately 30 mins before we arrive at your door, we will ring you as well to let you know that we are closeby. Please note that all products are clearly marked with the lead time for delivery.

What happens on the delivery date?

When our courier arrives with your item, they will proceed to deliver it to the room of your choice. As part of our delivery service, we take away all unwanted packaging for recycling if requested. If any of our staff agree to place items inside your premises, please note we do not accept responsibility for any damage whatsoever caused to your premises or possessions within. Please make sure that the area you want the furniture placed has easy access and is cleared.

A re-stocking charge of 20% of the item’s value will apply where adequate access is not available when goods are delivered and a credit note will then be issued for the outstanding value.

Can a delivery be cancelled or rescheduled?

Please note that a delivery cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery as our deliveries are prepared the evening before the scheduled delivery.

You must advise us of any cancellation at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled delivery date. A cancellation outside this time period will lead to a re-delivery charge which must be paid before your re-scheduled delivery.

If our driver cannot contact you on the number provided by you or fails to gain access to your delivery address on the day then your delivery will be rescheduled for the next available day. A re-delivery charge will apply which must be paid before your re-scheduled delivery.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We make every effort to deliver our furniture to your home in perfect condition. However, if an item arrives damaged please contact us immediately on and please include images of the damaged furniture. Keep all packaging materials from the shipment so we can arrange the return of the damaged goods. Once returned we will endeavour to replace the damaged item as soon as possible.

Can you remove my old furniture?

We provide a recycling service for your beds and sofas. View our Recycling page for pricing and further information. The recycling service fee of €50 has to be paid in advance by phone.

Where do we deliver furniture?

Furniture delivery is available to Antrim, Armagh, Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Derry, Donegal, Dublin, Fermanagh, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Leitrim, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Tyrone, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.

Do you offer a mattress pick up service?

Yes, we collect your old mattresses for recycling. A recycling service fee of €50 has to be paid by phone prior to delivery on 094-9023185.

Prior to Delivery

  • Ensure that the furniture will fit into the intended area in your home. You can contact us prior to ensure that the dimensions displayed online are correct if you wish.
  • Ensure that there is adequate access to your house for our delivery truck and that the furniture will fit through the external and internal doors in your home. 
  • Have a clear passage to the intended destination in your home.

Click & Collect

We offer a FREE Click & Collect service from both of our stores.

Simply select I'll Collect My Order at the checkout if you wish to avail of the service. The estimated waiting times for collection from any store is 3-7 working days for in-stock items because these have to be transported from our warehouse to the designated shop. Please await collection confirmation via email or phone before travelling to the store.

Once your item has arrived at your chosen store, we will contact you and arrange the collection. Remember to bring your sales order or a collection docket with you as proof of purchase.
